My first attempt at making bunk beds. Used dimensional lumber from Lowe’s to keep the cost down. 4x4, 2x6, 1x4 and 1x6 pine and popular.  Head and foot rails are mortised and pinned. Used bed rail brackets to attach the bed rails. Most challenging part was trying to figure out how to make a removable hanging ladder.
